Holiday Farm
Equestrian Vacations at the Horse Holiday
Farm Tilman Anhold and his wife Colette have been offering a
range of Equestrian Vacations and Trail Riding Holidays for more
than 30 years.
The Horse Holiday Farm is situated along a 20 miles stretch of coastline
with sandy beaches and dunes.
Riding by the sea
You can use the Horse as a base for the duration of your Horse
Riding Holidays and you can ride left and right along miles of
beaches. Daily rides with a guide, returning to the farm each
evening.
Self Lead Trail Riding
The trail riders are equipped with saddle bags and maps of the
routes and a list of pre booked accommodation for horses and
riders.

4-days Trail Riding Holidays in Sligo
Donegal Trail South and Donegal Trail West
are two of our most beautiful trails to discover the North West
of Ireland in a week - from the saddle, of course.
The unguided Trails are suited to a minimum of 2 persons - but,
if you really would like to ride a Trail and you don't have a riding
companion we have the possibility to help you find one on our Meeting
Page.
Our horses fit to all abilities of riders. Our horses are mainly
Irish Hunters, we also have Connemaras and Irish Cobs. They are
well mannered and experienced and very sure-footed.
General:
In order to participate in our Trail riders must be fit and able
to trot, canter and gallop at ease, You must also be capable
of taking good care of your horse: feed , groom and tack up.
On the Riding by the Sea programme riders must be minimum Intermediate
standard, this programme is also suited to very experienced riders.
On all programmes children must be over 12 years of age and good
riders and also must be capable of spending long hours in the saddle.
